In Zeum's hands-on workshops, you can work on unique projects with artists and professionals in different media arts and topics. Workshops are typically held on the first three Saturdays of the month and certain holidays. Check back for the most current dates and details.

Help us make October really spooky at Zeum! Join writer Mark De La Vina (826 Valencia/SJ Mercury News) for a ghost story writing workshop.

Create one-minute ghost stories with the help of professional writers and record them with the help of Zeum staff! In October, we'll play these ghost stories over Radio Z, our local radio network, and also put these spooky tales on iTunes as one of our Zeum podcasts!!

Join renegade costume designer, Sarah Anderson, in creating simple no-sew Halloween costumes! Discover easy ways to transform everyday household items and found materials into hats, masks, costumes and more!

With tons of your imagination, you will learn cutting, gluing, and folding techniques so you can mix and match to become anyone you want! Not even your friends will recognize you!

Artist Bio: Sarah Anderson, our talented Birthday Party Coordinator is often seen around Zeum dressed as a pirate, queen or rockstar. She has been creating costumes for fun as well as professionally for dance theater organizations and performance artists! She never turns down an opportunity to get into disguise!
