How to book a field trip at Zeum

You can also mail the form. Each two-hour workshop costs $175 and serves up to 30 students. Receive your invoice.
If one of your top choices is available a Visitor's Services Associate will send you an invoice for your trip. If your choices are not available you will be contacted for additional dates.
- Make a Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $30 per workshop is required to hold your reservation. We can accept a credit card by phone or a school check. Next, we will send a confirmation and an invoice for the remaining balance. You must pay your remaining balance to the Zeum receptionist on or before the day of your field trip.
- Preparation
Please discuss the curriculum with your designated educator. The two-hour visit passes very quickly, so classes who prepare in advance produce the most imaginative projects and have the most fulfilling experiences.
- Check-In
Bring your confirmation letter to check-in, and please be prompt!
- 9:20 am for morning workshops
- 11:50 am for afternoon workshops
- Late Arrival
- 15-30 minutes late—You will not be able to receive the full field trip experience. Workshops will end as originally scheduled.
- Over 30 minutes—No educator-led workshops will be available. Your group will only be permitted to visit the exhibit in Zeum's Main Gallery.
- Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, you must notify Zeum at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled field trip date. Every effort will be made to reschedule your visit. Groups who cancel less than 2 weeks of their scheduled field trip date will be billed for the full cost of the field trip. The $30 deposit is non-refundable.
Chaperones
Ratio: 1 adult: 10 students
Supportive chaperones help facilitate the visit and keep your group together at all times, helping to ensure a successful field trip experience. Zeum staff cannot be held responsible for any youth in your group at any time.
Special Needs
Please identify any special physical, mental or emotional needs your students have when making your reservation. For those with physical disabilities, Zeum offers a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking, elevators to all floors, and restroom facilities.
Fee Waived field trips at Zeum
Eligibility and application procedure for schools visiting Zeum
Did you know Zeum has a fee waived field trip program?
Your school may be eligible for a Fee Waived or Fee Reduced field trips at Zeum. If your school qualifies for free or reduced lunch you may be able to book a field trip free of charge.
If 50% or more of your school received free lunch your trip would be fee waived.
If 25%-49% of your school receives free lunch than your trip fee would be reduced by 50%.
If your school does not participate in the free lunch program find out if your principle can report to us on these demographics that you can so that we can evaluate the populations you serve.

Fill out our fee waiver application along with your booking, have it signed by your principal and our staff will respond with your status in your invoice.
Please Note:
Each month a certain number of trips are set aside for fee waived schools so check in with your Zeum reservation associate about availability.
